We believe the Lord has provided this ministry opportunity through this specific property to meet Him where He desires to shine His Light. Within a three mile radius of the mission center, there are approximately 5,295 people that live in this area. Of that group of people, approximately 5.7% are African American, .23% are Asian, 4.3% are Native American/other, and 4.9% are Hispanic. That means this area is approximately 85% white. And the common denominator among them/us all is our inward need for Jesus. Our town, like so many others, are hurting from the effects of drug abuse, domestic violence, alcoholism, homelessness, trafficking, etc. We hope to shine the Light of Christ into the darkness of those seeking more from life. We have two partnerships planned, one already having been announced with An Ounce of Grace Ministry (New Hope Baptist Church – Seneca). The other partnership will be announced in the very near future.As you know, this requires funding to stay afloat. The Lord has been so gracious to our church to be able to provide the means to kick start this ministry, but we will need more than our little church can give. We firmly believe the Lord will supply for His Work abundantly and beyond measure, and sometimes He does that through some of you! Our goal is to get at least $50,000 in the bank for the expenses of this ministry. This would ensure 2-3 years of time to establish God-honoring, theologically sound ministry that aims to meet the needs of those in our community.What am I asking of you? Simply pray. Pray for this young ministry. Pray for the Lord’s provision for this ministry.
